Hey Jamie,
Sorry I’m just getting your message. You don’t need to RSVP for the Date Night events. Hopefully you just showed up even without a response from us. If not, then you’re welcome to come in for the next one. See you then,
Rose McFadden

Just saw your Date Nights. Sounds awesome. I was interested in bringing my husband this Friday for his birthday so he can make something. Do we sign up ahead of time to make something or the night of the event ?

Hi!

My boyfriend has taken 2 glass blowing classes in Boston and really enjoyed it. We currently live in New Jersey and have never been to MD before. For Christmas I was going to surprise him with a trip to MD and I came across your website. Date night sounds pretty cool! Can you possibly send me a little bit more information on the projects? Thanks!!

-Jonelle

P.S. We’ve never been to

Hi Jonelle,

Date night runs from 7:00-10:30pm. There’s a big demonstration to start and then the hands on portion begins. Other small demonstrations will continue to go on throughtout the night. Each person can choose from any ofour beginner projects. Tim will take each person through the process of creating their glass piece. Most projects will also need a second person to blow while the other person shapes their piece. You can also sign up for a workshop with just the two of you Tuesday-Saturday 12-8 and Sundays 12-5. Please call 410-631-6039 if you need anymore informtaion.

Hello Tim!

I see that you mentioned above that projects range from $20-$60. Can a couple be involved together to make one item? Also, how long do the initial demonstrations last for on date night?

Thanks!

Yes a couple can make one of our blown projects together. The first demonstration last about an hour and a half. Then there will be small demonstrations for the rest of the evening.

Hi!
I am wondering whether my 15 year old son can attend date night with my boyfriend (an artist who used to dabble in glass). My son has been interested in glass for quite some time and would really love it.

P.S. Met you at Artscape this past year and you seemed really nice. :)

Hi Tim,
I wanted to thank you and Barb for doing such a great job with the Cub Scouts from Pack 350! We visited on 2/7/13. The boys had a great time making their items and your patience and understanding with a bunch of 9 & 10 year old boys was fantastic. Your passion and knowledge are outstanding. I highly recommend the make your own activity for other scout groups and will be sure to recommend your studio to everyone I know. They are already talking about a return visit!
