The Glass Grill Restaurant/Bar: NOW OPEN!
The Glass Grill is now open to the public. They are open for lunch everyday at 11am and stay open until 12am most nights and 2am on the weekends. The Grill is located directly next to the glassblowing studio at 6804 Eastern Avenue. They have more information on their website, http://www.glassgrill.net/ or at 410-633-2921.
Glassblowing Fundamentals and Continuing Courses: offered through Baltimore City and County Community Colleges. For more information on class schedules and times, please call (410)780-6533 or check the CCBC course catalog. This course is cheaper than our typical 4-week session!
Instructional Classes: Spaces now available for 4-week beginner classes. Classes take place once a week on Monday-Thursday nights from 6-9pm. Classes are small for more hands-on learning and creating. More information on the Instructional Classes page on the left.
Beginner Workshops: These workshops take place every Saturday between 3-6pm. They are designed as an introduction to glassblowing through creating your own glass objects, including paperweights, ornaments, necklace pendants, and flowers. Costs are based on a per piece basis. All ages are encouraged. Events are open to the public, but RSVP is required. You can RSVP by calling the studio (410)631-6039 or sending an email to mcfaddenartglass@yahoo.com.
"Date Night"- First and Third Fridays of every month, 7-10pm. Bring a date or a friend by the studio for some free entertainment. Artists will be demonstrating whatever forms the audience would like to see, including functional and sculptural glassware. Also, attendees will have the opportunity to pull a glass flower for $35 if they'd like. In addition, the Glass Grill Restaurant/Bar is located on-site and offers great drink specials during the event and throughout the rest of the night. RSVP encouraged, but not required.
